Hospice for Veterans in Western MA

The "We Honor Veterans Program" is a collaboration between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Hospice of the Fisher Home is proud to have achieved We Honor Veterans Partner - Level Three.

This program invites hospices and VA facilities to partner together in recognizing the unique and important needs of America’s veterans and their families. This partnership with the VA assists and educates hospices in learning how to accompany and guide veterans, especially combat veterans, through their life stories toward a more peaceful and compassionate end-of-life experience.
