Hospice Care

The Fisher Home provides at-home patients with medical supervision, nursing care, emotional support, and practical help within our community.  Our care includes regular visits from our clinical staff, including our registered hospice nurses, certified nursing assistants, social worker, and spiritual and bereavement counselor. (Additional visits are added as needed.)

We can also manage the ordering and delivery of medication and any necessary medical equipment to keep you or your loved one comfortable. Additionally, if your loved one has been receiving our hospice care at home, and you decide that it would be better to move into residential care, we will help make the transfer as easy as possible.

Our hospice residence is an intimate and homelike environment where family members are always welcome. There is a private bedroom for each patient, as well as a shared dining room, living room, and kitchen.

We also have a team of trained and committed volunteers who perform a variety of helpful tasks, such as cooking meals to order at any time of day, reading aloud, playing music, or just sitting quietly with those who want company.

Furry friends are welcome to visit residents as well. However, all pets must always be under adult supervision. Pets must be up to date with all required vaccinations and be free of fleas, ticks and worms.
